Yep phenomenal player. Super smooth, really fast, etc. Just a little too neo-classical maybe. A bit more grit would do just fine. I was very into The Odyssey album for a while and then the fad passed. The music's a bit thin. One rhythm guitar.. wailing singer...LOTR epic synthesizer wash...not so much my thing I guess. Awesome band though, gotta respect them big time.
Now for someone as fast, even smoother and with a totally unique style in a much more kickass band, my latest personal favourite: Per Nilsson from Scar Symmetry. (I keep mentioning him I know. And I'll keep mentioning him until Scar Symmetry kick Simon Cowell off the #1 xmas spot HAHAHA.)
