So I went visit the lady selling the Epiphones, here's the lowdown.
1 x 1996 Epiphone LP Gold Top - MIK (Unsung Factory) Fair condition, has a small chip on the face (+- 2mm) couple scratches around the edges, bottom edge feels a bit bumpy, woods probably just compressed, steam might fix that, I think it's from putting down on tiled floors without much care. Nice looking guit could use some TLC, everything looks stock standard, covered humbuckers, chrome hardware)
1 x 1996 or 95 Epiphone Sheraton II - MIK (Samick Factory) Fair condition, has a 3-5cm crack under the fretboard by the headstock joint, other than that pretty sexy blues, jazz vibe, also needs some TLC.
I gave the lady some history on Epiphones and the relationship with Gibson and what they go for new etc, and that I don't think that they are worth 10k at all, maybe 2-3 for the gold top and 2 for the Sheraton.
they seem like they want the cash bad, but hey I figured I'd throw this out here just in-case my assesment is wrong ?
