Some of the old '80s Japan-made Aria TA series were really nice, but the newer ones aren't anything special and IMO a bolt-on neck is far from ideal for an archtop.

fjcdt it certainly is different. R1k's not bad but its a long way to drive to check it out. The next add (same guy) is an ibby rickenbacker look alike. Kinda pretty in red, cant seem to get the link posted, sorry guys. Ibby is also r1k. Anybody know anything about the vox in the pic, i might make the drive to have a look at it, if it seems worth it.
