Alan, if you guys plan on doing what you suggested (which is an excellent suggestion), could someone please setup a podcast sorta thing so that i can still watch whilst sitting in Dakar. Thanks.
I'm talking about the official "Graemestock" in March, so you have no excuse. ?
BTW - I propose that we try and set up things so that Graeme and Ursh can be compensated for their time, trouble and the outlay they put into these things. What about a paid bar and/or hot dogs for sale or something similar? Ideas?
Sorry, i was suffering from blondeheaditis there for a moment.
Will be there for sure.
+1 with compensating Ursh & Graeme for their time, place and efforts.
As of now, i see the following suggestions for a more organized event:
Probably start with the gear/setup workshops, followed by Rene's "original louisiana mojo" (sorry i had to drop that in there after i heard it in the movie Crossroads - The Ralph Macchio,Steve Vai flick) blues workshop, meet & greet...
Followed by the various members playing anywhere between 15 - 20 songs and finish off with dop'n'chop.
Appreciate if someone could add a list of the songs.
I'd like to (attempt to) play Beck's "Led Boots" ?
And i'd really like to trade licks with Manny, Guy & Rene (hint, hint, nudge, nudge, wink, wink) ?
Speakin of which, Rene, do you want to do that Coryell/McLaughlin tune? Just please don't smoke me off the stage with your awesomeness :goodtimes:
