Hey Keira, why do I get the feeling this is gonna be a serious custom guitar?
Because if you have'nt found it yet after all the time you've been playing, and your experience.....it does not exist!!! ?

you know Aubs..... i have always played nylon, it has always been my love.... but i was a musical prostitute till only 5 years ago...... playing and doing sessions on bass/ double bass/electric guitar... /keyboards / and playing every style from jazz to pop to rock to fusion to country and even some afrikaans sessions ........since i thought acoustic world music was not a money maker...heheh which it can be as i've found out.........
so aubs what i'm saying i have not been searching for my "perfect" nylon for that long ......... so yeah and so far from back in the day hehehe i been owning yamaha's ......
mmm yeah i know you prob right that a custom might be the only solution...... but you know i'm wierd by nature too and won't be put off from playing a cheap guitar if it gives me that tone and feel..... so yeah i've already found one pawn shop prize my 37 yr old yamaha that i'm now using live... but it's not a boutique instrument by any means but it has great tone and feel....... maybe even thats the one....... so scouring pawn shops for old guitars. i think thats where my heart lies... more than ordering some custom instrument...
damn aubs if i think of spending 30 - 50 thousand on a custom guitar ..... that will prob earn me the same amount of money that the R600 pawn shop guitar will. i have serious doubts..... i would find better uses for that money...... rather finance more travelling to get exposure on my compositions and performance.... ....
