I'm increasingly becoming aware of what an effort the maintenance of so many guitars are. I currently have 10 guitars of which 6 are mine, the rest belong to a friend who doesn't have the space for all his guitars. I play his axes occassionally, so I feel I have to maintain them also. I definitely can't keep up with all ten, so I reckon about 4 guitars should be the ideal in terms of maintaining them all.
Just imagine someone like David Gilmour, with his 350+ guitars...I guess his guitar tech is busy all year round.
@Manny: Let us know what you're getting rid of.... ? Haha just realised how I contradicted the above statement with my last line!
