It's certainly been a while since I last logged in.

Just thought I'd let you all know about a website of a guy who offers some awesome free blues tutorials which you can download from his site. He also has a range of DVDs for sale which, if you go by the demo clips which can be viewed online, may definitely be worth looking at. This guy appears to have put a lot of effort into this. As for the website name, I think this is a giveaway about who he models his tutorials on.

I am definitely going to buy them and will give a review once I have them.

If you have already mastered the 5 Pentatonic boxes, I would go for the Blues boxes and Essential Licks DVD's. They are very helpful to get a huge range of licks in your arsenal. I also like his Original Ballad DVD, although I would have liked to see a bit more of his lead break, but if you learn the licks, I am sure you can figure it out from the DVD. I would say it was money well spent, if you are a SRV fan like me, but any blues player can benefit from the Essential Licks DVD.
