I was pleasantly surprised to find that contrary to my suspicions, there really is a flesh-and-bone person called Alan and he's not a committee of guitar experts or a supercomputer...and a really nice guy too! As were everyone there.

Must've been the guitar! I think the guys were just to polite to say "sit the hell down and shutup will ya!" Or they may have done so and I just didn't hear them.... ?
