Hey hey!
Thursday is gonna be a blast.
Considering the Jammin', Ursh and I are more than happy to host a few sessions at our place. We could use the top floor entertainment room (75m2), indoor/outdoor braai area and roof deck and really give it horns, as the neighbours are far enough away.
If anyone spontaneously combusts due to our super hot jamming session, we have a pool in the garden below. And for our wayward Plattelanders (and those tucked away in small villages somewhere near Cape Town), we have a guest room and spare room for you to crash in, should we be in high spirits post jam. Locals are also welcome to crash wherever they find a spot. For those that feel more comfortable pitching a tent, we have a garden, complete with koi pond to get lost in. No fishing is allowed though ?
Just a thought guys, but the offer is firm. Let me know what you think of my "Mini Woodstock" idea?

I have a 2x50W RMS amp and speakers that we can hook up to my laptop and my soundcard has 2 guitar inputs we can use.
My effects are all via GR3.
If anyone has a robot drummer, we can amp him up too ?

We shouldn't need monitors for a jam - that's what the PA's for. Shouldn't need to mic anything up either. I have a brace of 58s and 57s (natch) if needed though.
@Graeme - your Arcam? Think twice... My Mission Cyrus has never been the same since in a pinch it got conscripted into monitor duty and we blew the driver and power trannys. High end HiFi just isn't built for the punishment.

Whoops....that might be the fate of my Infinity's soon if I'm not careful, as I've been pushing the volume somewhat recently - feedback heaven - and actually wondered if it's good for the speakers.

Ok guys I have an opening for the weekend of 12th & 13th September for "Mini Woodstock" at my place.
It would essentially be a pop, dop, guitar and chop day/evening/weekend ?
You are welcome to stay the whole weekend if you like as I plan on ringing in Spring in a big way.
