Some More Down Time

After my little upgrade on Sunday, it seems like things didn't go as well as planned on the server. We had down-time this morning from around 00h20 till about 08h00. The server ran out of memory because of a bad configuration.

I've reverted to a more stable configuration and all should be well again in the world of GFSA ?

HEHEHE! ? I still don't get why the monitoring software didn't pick it up!

PS: I still haven't had a proper play with it yet :/ Been hectic and with server issues to add to it all - it just makes it that much more fun ?

Would you believe it, even more down time! Between 2am and 9am today. Fixed - was a mistake I made in a config file and I've put measures in place to ensure that I know about such problems before going to bed ?

Norio, the intresting thing was that the site was only down from the IS network.
The Telkom and MWEB network could still access the site!
The stats indicated that the response time to GFSA decreased when the IS network went down ?

Ja, that makes sense. The IS peering issue et al.

It might've been them messing around with Seacom? ?
