Just got the new Robbie Robertson album - How to become clairvoyant. Early impressions are good. I loved his other two solo albums - Robbie Robertson and Storyville. This one has been a long time coming...

Good Stuff

Named my daughter Kayleigh, as I suppose many did that year, lucky for her , it was Doris up until that point.

Fish was excellent, Steve Rothery a very underated Guitarist

flatfourfan

What was - Exodus - Bonded by Blood
What is - Black Flag - Slip it in
What's next - Sugarbabes - Push the button...........that's what happens when your 4 year old daughter has a say as to what music I cut for the car.lol.

Jack-Flash-Jr

New My Morning Jacket "Circuital"... that annoying falsetto off Evil Urges nicely curbed... first half of the album is great... undecided about the rest...

arjunmenon

Listening to some afro jazz of late...
Some interesting listening to be had:

Molo Africa - Winston Mankunku
Abantwanabase Africa - Winston Mankunku
Home at last - Bheki Mseleku

giggsy

The New Manchester Orchestra - Simple Math

This band astounds me and I dont know why they are not huge... This is a creepy song - the choir part gets me thinking of Another Brick in the Wall, but there are so many layers to it. Does anyone recognise the guitar the singer is playling btw? Gretch possibly?

Jack-Flash-Jr

@ Giggsy, really enjoyed that thanks!

All this 80's Talk

The Mission "God's Own Medicine"
Used to freak out for 'Stay with Me", doesn't sound as groudbreaking as it did 1986. Wayne Hussey ex Sisters of Mercy was the frontman
