Kaki King is another story. It is very good for me. Maybe for you as well if you can get by listening to someone playing an Ovation. But this was a bit of a challenge becasue I didnt know that there was a bonus DVD in the damned package and that is the disk I whipped out of this cardboard sleeve. And everytime I want to listen to the cd on the laptop, this movie pops up and I thought well hell, this I've never seen before so what is going on. But at the end of the day I want to listen to the music while I'm doing some graft and I dont want this movie popping up ne although for me old Kaki King looks good as well. So I sat back and I was looking at the cardboard cover and I see that there is a bonus dvd in there. So I found the cd finally and everything was happy ever after. But I took a look at the dvd a bit later on last night and gee whiz, it is also really grand. Well, I like it anyway.
Hmmmm....Personally I look upon it like a gift from beyond when I get to hear the gorgeous tone of an Ovation ? (Not sarcasm - I own one)
Kaki King is pretty cool, I'm not mad about her singing though...In an interview I read she kinda derailed Michael Hedges a little for making generic pop music, and in some ways she is doing the same thing...Her instrumental stuff is great though, tracks like Goby and Night After Sidewalk are just killer ?
As for the DVD thing - you can disable autorun on your computer, this is also a good idea because most viruses on portable media like flash drives embed themselves in the autorun file and you can potentially save yourself from getting virused that way, you should still have a good virus scanner but it can help a little.
