I'm intrigued to read (on the band's website) that they are approved, authorised etc by both Pink Floyd's management and by Roger Waters. Does this mean that the Floyd sell a sort of official tribute band franchise?
If so then what are the benefits to the band and to the audience?
You have to be an officially registered tribute band to do the tribute. Otherwise it is just a cover band.
Also you get the assurance that the standard is top notch!
Derek can explain the details, but I think there are only a tiny handful proper tribute bands in the world
