    Hi

    This must be Dereck ???
      Shalom,

I went to see the show at the Rustic theater a few months ago, and thought it was great..... not only the music, but the whole production, set, sound, lights and beer.....mmmm was top notch highly recommended

If I'm not mistaken its is produced by Dave Abbott (from Abbott and Crab)

Do you mean Saturday 9 May or Friday 8 May?

            Sounds like cool gig
I'm intrigued to read (on the band's website) that they are approved, authorised etc by both Pink Floyd's management and by Roger Waters. Does this mean that the Floyd sell a sort of official tribute band franchise?

If so then what are the benefits to the band and to the audience?

You have to be an officially registered tribute band to do the tribute. Otherwise it is just a cover band.

Also you get the assurance that the standard is top notch!

Derek can explain the details, but I think there are only a tiny handful proper tribute bands in the world

                  Hi there everyone,
Read all the posts and here are the answers lol:

Firstly, We did not perform at Rustic theatre the band that did the tribute do other ptojects as well besides the Pink Floyd for them it' was a 'Once off thing'

Secondly, We are SA's Pink Floyd tribute band called 'Welcome to the machine' and I'm the founder of this band, there are only two (2) people in SA who have permission to do this tribute of course that would be 'Crazy Diamond' and myself we gor our permission from roger waters, SA Pink Floyd tribute .WTTM. are the only sanctioned PF tribute band in SA, 'Crazy Diamond does other projects besides PF tribute
                  Have an awesome day!

Thirdly, there is no third party who produces our shows we do it ourselves!

Bakgat. Seeing as the techniformalities have now been dispensed with, the only question remaining is WHEN 'n where is the next show?
When are you going to be in KZN ??
