My friend has an M-Audio first generation Axiom 49 midi controller keyboard which will no longer switch on. We think the fault is on the main circuit board. Does anyone know where to get circuit schematics and board layouts so that we can troubleshoot the circuit fault. Alternatively does anyone know of a repair guy with experience in fixing this unit or where a spare board may be available?

Johnny-B Eish, if google can't dig up the schematics/layout, then I'm not sure.

I've used this guy (Thereon Electronics works) and he's quite into the details, so even if he hasn't seen it before, he's got a decent chance of figuring it out - downside, he's in in Cpt

I know the gear junkies have some old bits they use for spares - but that's the longest of shots - worth a email if you really want to exhaust all avenues!

Johnny-B the fellers at JD Kustom do repairs on electronic items. Maybe worth a shot if you are in JHB
