Nice.. has a Johnny Cash feel about it
A Cover a Month
- Edited
I was thinking of joining in and doing the same list but I might lose interest if I don't pick my own songs so I scratched that idea
Here's my list of songs I'm wanting to learn to play/sing:
- Ben Harper โ Show me a little shame (singing)
- Marc Cohn โ Walking in Memphis (singing)
- Arno Carstens โ Another Universe (singing)
- GnR โ Sweet Child (solo)
- Queen โ I want it all (solo)
I had a bigger list somewhere but I have no idea where that list is. Anyway, if I learn the rhythm guitar + singing for all the "singing" songs above, and the rhythm + solo (and maybe singing as a guitar melody) for the "solo" songs above, that'd be awesome.
Also, challenging! (Challenging as heck!)
So when is the first one due?
Now I just have to figure out when to start learning these
Mornings worked well for me in the past but theyโre pretty busy now and itโs cold

So my guitar cover isn't ready yet but since it's the last day of the month I thought I'd share what I've been working on in my singing lessons... I mean... singing Mozart counts as doing a cover right?
Anyway, I've still got a long way to go but it's coming along. Oh... and no, I don't expect anyone to listen to the whole thing.
Here's Norio's new fangled mp3 thingie...
And here is Sound Cloud
So I got something finished!
Yeti damn... nice vocal chops bud..

Now for the next installment.
I need to learn how to program drums properly.. It's always the thing that keep me from wanting to record xD
So for this month I'll try and leave my comfort zone by doing a song with a proper drum track. Still deciding on what though.
Hi Everyone,
I've decide to cover Blue Eyes - Springbok Nude Girls.
Can anyone help with the guitar part?
I've been trying to get a good/similar distortion sound via plugins but it just doesn't seem right.
