Anyone know where I can buy an affordable multifx pedal? Like sale/promotional/demo/ etc units.

Mickey check raru and takealot. Alternativelt checkou the south african online music instrument store facebook group. There were a few multifx pedals going for reasonable prices

Mickey I would just buy second hand, good condition, on Facebook Market or Facebook groups like South Africa Music Instrument Store or SA Music Store.

Sale season is coming up - Bothners do the rocktober thing and end November is Black Friday (everyone has something on sale, Raru;s deals were fairly decent the last few years).

TOMS sale just passed, though I'd keep an eye on them too,..I have heard there's gonna be a TOMS opening up in Cpt soon, which means a opening sale!

The guy in charge of the music department is a legend - I was looking for a Mooer Radar and he helped me organize one of the first two brought into South Africa officially and at an epic good price (and by epic good price, I mean cheaper than I’d pay through amazon prior even to calculating shipping and taxes etc)

If anyone wants anything they’re struggling to find (or just a competitive price), I would definitely contact Raru

ScottyDogg agree. I forget the guys name.. but he sorted me out as well when they delivered the wrong item. He quickly sorted a return, got the right thing rerouted to me.. and threw in a freebie to say sorry. Was a real pleasure to deal with

I get Raru's & Bothners newsletters and sms's from TOMS - unless you have a inside line at one of the stores, even then they generally keep things quiet until the sale starts.

There's a bit of chatter on our guitartalk whatsapp group - some guys can outshop me, which is most impressive ?

Raru rocktober sale. Vox stomplab 2g multifx going at 1699. Dunno if its good or bad.. but there you go
