Dear friends. An old school friend of mine is in Gordon's Bay and has a young daughter studying sound engineering. She needs a work shadow opportunity as part of her exams. I don't know what is on offer on that side of town, could someone please advise me ? Regards - David
DaFiz I've no idea either - I'm thinking the best places to ask directly would be SAE in Woodstock and COPA in Cpt CBD.
They might have partner programmes (I'd be surprised if there wasn' something in Stellenbosch?) or know a independent producer/engineer out that side.

Two other thoughts that crossed my mind is trawl gumtree/facebook for peeps doing sound production (either live or studio) or check with rehearsal spaces (E.g. Kill City Blues have a intern program, but they are in Woodstock).
in the industry myself a little bit as sound guy. involved with my mate's band, as well as working at a couple of venues. Personally, not really sure if there's anything out Gordon's Bay way. Somerset West probably be ur next best bet.
