Lu22 lol, completely forgot about it.
Looks like I can't edit the title now unfortunately.

So what day are we thinking? 1 June?

June 1 works for me as well, looking forward to it.

      I'll be joining.

Can someone dm me the details and/or add me the the group?

Regarding song list for the session, I was thinking of repeating the following songs and add a couple of new ones... what do people think?
Queen - Crazy Little Thing Called Love
ZZ Top - Just Got Paid
      Stone Temple Pilot - Plush
      Airbourne - Running Wild
      RHCP - Slow Cheetah
Steel Panther - Eyes of the Panther
      ACDC - Hells Bells
Bryan Adams - Summer of 69
Tracy Chapman - Give me One Reason

Does anyone have any other songs they'd like to do... @klaasvakie I seem to remember you had a couple.

On that note, does anyone possibly know how to play any Falconer songs?

Yeti Fingers crossed but I might be able to manage some of those

Yeti looking forward to Tracy Chapman. Right now I'm just looking forward to strumming. Managed to strum a nice Sigma in a second hand shop today.

guidothepimmp Scadewegian I think... Just not sure where.
And they are definitely worth checking out if you don't know them.

If I remember correctly the lead singer was the star of their theater scene before starting the band.

I think lets keep the list like you have it. I'd like get these songs down proper instead of diluting the effort with more songs. There are a bunch of these where I was just strumming along last time and I could use the time to learn them properly.

In that case let's make it exactly the same list as we did last time:

Ain't no Rest for the Wicked - Cage the Elephant

          Plush - Stone Temple Pilot

Running Wild - Airbourne
          Slow Cheetah - RHCP
Eyes of the Panther - Steel Panther
          Hells Bells - ACDC
          Holiday - Green Day
Summer of 69 - Bryan Adams
Give Me One Reason - Tracy Chapman
Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Queen

Just Got Paid - ZZ Top/Joe Bonamassa

Down in a Hole (Unplugged) - Alice In Chains

Confirmed the garage with Greg. We should be getting our own key this time.

            15 days later

            Good Day

Just some questions regarding the chords provided.

Running Wild seems to be in a different key. Using a capo?
I've got F for the Intro,
            |Eb Bb F |Eb Bb C| - Pre Chorus
            |F Eb |x3 |Ab Bb| - Chorus

            Crazy Little thing called Love
The solo part I have as Bb D Bb and not G C G . - Might be wrong?
On the bridge, the A should be on "Fever" and F on "leaves". - confused me initially xD

Ain't no rest for the wicked. Chorus sounds off.. still working on that one.

            Hope this helps =D

Yeah, they play Running Wild with a capo... but we decided not to last time to save the poor singers ?
Similarly, we usually keep our guitars in standard tuning, even on songs that are normally played with a lower tuning.

I'm pretty confident in the chords for Crazy Little Thing because I took it from some decent tabs (although the chords vs words might be off)

I'm a lot less certain on Ain't no rest... any input would be great.

                @Yeti

                Thanks,

So that means that I'm playing Running Wild a full step down?

The solo part on the link for Crazy Little Thing does start on Bb though.. But I'm playing from a Bass point of view so the notes played might just be outlining something different.

I've got a good idea about Aint no rest, will check later tonight.
