Gonna call my entry "Uncomfortably Dumb ..."

Yeah I don't see any harm in changing it to Sunday @ midnight.
It is done. Good luck, folks!

Deadline extension is much appreciated!
the extension might work for me to enter something too guys
Great news @klaasvakie & @nick_D01. No pressure but we're depending on you now ?
I was very tempted to try. Been listening to this guy for, well, 40 years at least? And never realized his talent includes bending. So, as mentioned by another, my entry would have been uncomfortably dumb too. But, I have been trying to insert a small bend here and there, to see if it actually improves the general talent-less noodling approximating that song. It might, but one really has to be able to control it. As for 1/2 step, no. Full step? How? If I need a tone higher, use the next fret. Been working a few bends into "Sweet child of Mine" initial solos. As I said, control is the problem. Too much, yuck. Not enough, blah.
Looking forward to the entries!
Whew! I'm glad this is over. I never really managed to sound like Gilmore. I ended up with some pentatonic noodling with a couple of bends thrown in. The backing track came with my amp, and is called "Half Tempo in B" (The same key as Comfortably Numb).
Guitar was a split humbucker in the neck position with a "Comfortably Numb" preset from Line 6. May the force be with me.
Prefer to think of it as "Gilmore inspired?" ?
Congrats fellas ? Seems like this was a tough challenge so just showing up is an achievement in itself!
I'll open voting soon.

+1!
I reckon it was a good challenge just to get everyone thinking about the technique and do some critical listening - I had a go, one step bends were okayish (if rusty), but 2 and beyond were a miss n miss affair.
