Cape Town’s Stone Jets — made up of Manfred Klose on guitars, Eduan Joubert on drums and Given Nkanyane on vocals and bass — creates toe-tapping music, wrapped in soul and traditional elements.
Formed in 2013, the band have released two EPs, namely River and What I Say, and performed alongside the likes of Hugh Masekela and Majozi. They’ve performed on national television SABC 3’s Expresso Morning Show and SABC 2’s Hectic Nine-9, as well as appearing on some of South Africa’s biggest festival stage

I should add a disclaimer : Manfred has contributed a lot to the forum (his telecaster builds are particularly great!) - that tele you'll see in all the video's is his own build with a oak neck!

Manny's done a lot in the local industry, builds, gettogether's, running his own studio and getting the Stone Jets all around the country touring. And when you thought he had enough to do...somehow he even finds time to help/mentor local muso's...including Richard Stirton (The Voice winner).
I also know them personally and can honestly say they are the nicest guys - a cliché - but it's 100% true. I tease Given about being "pure sunshine", on and off stage - dude has such a voice and we always have a laugh! Plus they are reallly hard working - they will be in your part of the world sometime - they have played, literally everywhere there is a opportunity to in SA.
