GFSA "Top 10" Challenge

Let's try something a bit different this month - develop a entry from one of the progressions in this excellent article Studmissile found : https://thornepalmer.wordpress.com/2011/12/29/the-10-most-used-chord-progressions-in-pop-and-rock-and-roll/.

Rules for beginners/intermediate/advanced :
All genre's welcomed.
Max four instruments playing at any one time - a Vocal track is considered 'free' (doesn't count towards the four instrument limit).
Submissions around 2mins.

Band/Professional category - no limits at all (no track limits or time limits).

If you would like to enter, send me an email (v8v8v8 at gmail dot com) by 23:59 pm Monday 10th April 2017 with :
1. GFSA username.
2. Track name.
3. Category (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Band)
3. Track rendered in mp3.
4. Optional blurb. Anything you might feel is useful to the listener - info about song, studio, recording techniques, etc..
5. Please make sure you have GFSA somewhere in the title of the email - otherwise I might miss your submission.

Annnnddd...don't forget - collaborations are most welcome.

Good luck!

Heish, it has been very quiet on this thread - I got inspired over the weekend, but it fizzled out :-[

But the deadline is still the 10th, so there is time!
              I'll see how time goes.

it does seem to get that way - a lot of initial interest, then... nada. i thought perhaps a way around this might be to create a locked thread for the compos, so folks know exactly what they're about, but comments and thoughts happen in another thread, to people's hearts' contents.

might just be a dumb idea

                    Congrats man!

I also snuck in an entry cobbled together in like 2 evenings. Small improvements over the previous entries in terms of getting the sections to fit together. I've always struggled to get different parts of the songs to flow together. I'm sufficiently happy with the result of my efforts.
Lekker Warren, now go and get some chotes and lozenges with a hot toddy to sweat out that flu

Yeah, a bit of a career change meant I missed this one, even missed the voting part. But going to catch up on listening now!
