Saw on facebook today that it will be held again this year. 1 - 3 July
I can't wait. Save up money and hold back on the GAS. 8)
Groovy! What was the best stuff you saw last year?

Is there a website with more info?
That's great. I wanted to go last year, but they moved the date and I couldn't make it as a result.
Got my Blackstar HT-5R there at a really good price.
The demos Pop Effects did with their pedals were great. I am still eye-ing their fuzz.

I know more now and my taste has changed a bit, so I will look at things with a different perspective this year.
They had half-size Strats there as well - I have a very petite friend that needs an electric guitar. She is going with this year. ?
I also remember a lot of drop D-bags playing the same Avenged Sevenfold song repeatedly on the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier at the Music Connection stand.

And there was a bar, food, and live music... :goodtimes:
hey mr hasie man, hi ? . thanks a whole bunch mnr for doing a post for the event. personally, it flew under my radar last year, but its really great to know all about it this year. it really looks/sounds like a full on geetar hoe down of note ?
Hi guys, where can I get more info on this?
Do they also do this is Cape Town?
there weren't THAT many great deals.. it was a nice enough show though.
No cape town event as far as I'm aware. It's expensive enough for the smaller guys just to get to the gauteng event.
No more tattoo expo. No guitar expo.

                  ☹
as far as I know, it almost didnt happen last year either..
The turnout was rather impressive though for the minimal advertising involved.
unfortunately, this ain't no NAMM. and it's costs the smaller guys a lot in time, resources and cash to be there. Which is why only one show, to my understanding ?

This is true. The custom builders were there and the well known shops. I would have liked to see the new models by the manufacturers - more like NAMM.
If attendance keeps growing over the years the event will probably become more epic.

That would require new stock to be on hand. and with the current exchange, I don't foresee that going to well for us unfortunately.
