KavoKJK Hello All I have lots of 1 hour breaks at varsity, so I thought that would be the prefect time to practice. But the problem is, it gets very hot here, and I normally don't park in shade. So my car becomes like a greenhouse hahahaha. Would it be very bad if I leave my guitar in that heat for about 4 hours? I have a Yamaha if that makes a difference.

Stoffeltoo Guitars left in car boots. Bad idea. My guitar cases can attest to that with peeling trim. If you can find a office or someone in admin where you can leave your guitar in relative stable temperatures. Else get a padded soft case with back straps and take it where you go. Never leave it in your car. Almost forgot, grow long hair, wear shaggy denims and toe eater sandals. Guaranteed to work as non verbal pick-up. ?

Shibbibilybob Never leave your acoustic in a car during the day. Sudden changes in temperature wreak havoc on wood. Solid wood guitars would be in more danger than laminate guitars. But regardless, never leave your acoustic guitar in a car. If you do have to, keep it brief and open your windows slightly.
