  • For sale - heads up...

Hey guys

I'm putting a few items up for sale, and thought you lovely lads n lasses might want a bit of warning. They'll all go up in the classifieds with pics n prices, I've just not got round to taking and/or compressing proper pics yet. This should all happen by the weekend.

It's all in excellent condition, never gigged, bedroom use only, and I'm only selling them to pare down my collection to a reasonable size. The gear is as follows:

Tokais, all Vintage Series (MIJ)
SG88 (White)
LS105Q (Oak, I think, it's gorgeous at any rate - wait until you see the pics)
LC98 (Wine red)
I also have an LS95S (Gold Top with soapbar pups). I very much doubt I'll be parting with this, but who knows...

Why are they all Tokais? Just ask a Tokai owner. And, yes, I will be keeping one of them, probably the Gold Top, but maybe the Custom. Dunno yet...

Up for sale will be a Cort A4 bass (I think it's an Artisan) and a 50W combo, hopefully as a pair, but I'll split them too. I also have a small medeli electronic drum set, full details released with all the rest.

Hope that's whet the whistle, I'll post pics and prices on the weekend. A week after which, all remaining gear goes on the dreaded Tree.

toodles

    I don't have GAS. I don't have GAS. I don't have GAS. I don't have GAS. I don't have GAS.
    GAS is for the weak...

You're going to regret this. Your collection is not vast by many people's standards.

Of course you're quite right, singe. I have regretted selling every single guitar I've ever sold. Onna udder hant, what I regret more is walking into my 'studio', looking at all those guitars, and walking straight out because I can't be bothered to decide which one to play.

I will keep one. Either the Custom or the Gold Top. I love soap bar pups, and that may end up swaying the decision, although that Custom is a thing of rare beauty, and sounds and plays - stock-room standard - just marvellous. So in the end it will be a tough decision.

I will thereafter take the proceeds from the sale of these three, or four, depending, guitars, and make an investment in one instrument that I will, absolutely play.

Though this be madness, yet there is method in't

Hi Dom, with age comes wisdom.... Wish I had your cojones. Good luck though. Looking forward to them pics
Hey Dom, I'm keen on the bass and combo. I'll in box you ?
              G'day y'all

In the interests of complete transparency, I believe the following update is necessary. I played (schoolboy error, I know) all of these guitars this weekend, and as it turns out I am now removing the Custom and the Gold Top from the sale, for reasons of insanity.

Everything else remains as is. I shall endeavour to get pics up as soon as I can. It's also proving tricky; I'm being a bit of an ass about it, trying to do it all at once. As I get each one done, I'll put it up in the classifieds.

We thank you for holding, your call is important to us
