Fender Twins is supposedly a hell of an amp. I'm not sure how much those go for though.
Same with the Peavey Delta Blues.
You'd have to wait or ask around for a 2nd hand Twin?
I'd love delta, I don't think they import them here?
Ideally the best is to try as many amps as possible, most Fenders tend to have that clean channel you after.
I heard a guy today had a 100 watt Fender Twins tube.
And here I am shitting my pants over a 40 watt tube.

Howdy.
The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III is a great amp for recording or live.
Because it is manufactured in Mexico the costs are less than USA and the end product more affordable.
Great Fender Clean tones. Not quite Blackface, but a good tone for the price.
I have used mine for regular gigs for 5 years now. No issues.
The only negative would be the reverb usually becomes faulty after vigorous use.
Otherwise I give it 8 / 10 ?
Hmmm...
I'll be adding a bunch of pedals to the mix anyway so an extra reverb pedal won't be a problem.
I managed to have a chat with a guy today who brings in many of the Fenders for many of the shops and he was telling me the Hot Rod Deville 212 is amazing, but there is also some new signature model made for a Michael something that consists of two clean channels (no overdrive, built to add pedals to) and is supposedly out of this world.
He might be able to bring in a model of one or the either for me to test out so I'll hold out on buying until I get a taste of 'em.
Otherwise I just get the Deluxe and should I ever play an outdoor festival (HOLDING THUMBS!!!!!!!!!!) then I could always borrow or rent something else.
I played the deluxe again today and it really is great.
The only thing is that the Deville is a 60 watt tube and apparently doesn't sound good at anything below 4 or something like that, which would be too loud for bars, but I was told a hot plate (is it a hot plate? I can't remember) can solve that issue. Its also not much more expensive for much more volume.
