Except not really. Realised I'd lurked around here, posting from time to time and have never introduced myself. ? :-[

So in an attempt to correct that: hi! I'm Simon. 35, Capetonian. I've been playing since I was 9, but I'm not anywhere near as good as I should be for having played that long...

I've played in a number of CT cover bands since the mid-2000s: Sidewinder, Tall Order, Harry and the Honkeys, and now in a mainly acoustic band we call Out Of Order.

My musical tastes include a huge variety of genres but my playing preferences tend to be straight-down-the-line 70s/80s blues-based classic rock.

I've spent the better part of the last 18 months working on my vibrato ?
Oh, and I have a stupid username because I joined on a whim years ago and never thought I'd contribute ?
      Well hello then.

Pics or that gearlist of yours is invalid.

Hope he has good wide angle lens else he'll need to take multiple photos for that gear list ?

        oh and welcome
K, but you asked for it. Didn't get everything.

Lowkey, I certainly wouldn't want to risk a decent quality camera on any of my playing-face shots...
Shucks Schuster, what a collection! Thanks for sharing and again welcome, keep em coming
Nice! That does not disappoint ?

I also have a little red number in the post. Can't wait.
I'm assuming that's a 335 sort of red job, rather than a BC Rich eyegouger?

Ha! I wondered what someone might see in the DVDs.

Sure. I'm away for a week but we can arrange something when I get back. PM towards the end of next week.

Hmmm, some super sweet gear, but the Mockingbird is a winner in my book!
