I'm sprucing up a grotty Epiphone LP Custom that has gold hardware. The hardware isn't in great shape, but the tuners are Grovers, they function and the bridge and stop bar aren't too awful. I can't justify tossing them all for a new nickle setup. But the screw heads, practically all, are rusted and I'd like to replace them. Any idea where to get them in CT? I've never seen them at the local music shops, but perhaps I'm not looking hard enough.
There are two specialist nut and bolt shops in Paarden Island. Topfast 021 511 4477 and Bolt and Nut 021 5112087. I am always amazed at what they actually stock.

I reckon you are looking at gold plated not solid gold?

        For sure gold-plated.

So neither Top Fast nor Bolt & Nut had anything, in plated or brass.

Paul Bothners in Claremont had a few loose plated screws at R1 each. So I could get a few that I needed.

I spoke to Gear Junkie and the phone and they also have a few, but I've yet to go there.

So Oliver at The Gear Junkie was super helpful and sorted me out. What a cool shop, too! I highly recommend popping in!
