Bad News ☹

They won't be delivered to you before Christmas...

...because the local website I was going to use (Design4T.com) just wasn't ready in time.

So now I'm using TeeSpring which means you can order before Christmass and the Tees will be delivered in January.

Why TeeSpring?

Printing and selling T-Shirts is a pain in the ass. I've done it before and it wasn't fun.

It's also risky. You could end up sitting with a ton of T-Shirts in a cupboard you still need to sell.

Been there, done that, and all I got were A LOT of really great T-Shirts ?

Using TeeSpring means I don't have to buy a bunch of T-Shirts and hope for sales.

You deal direct with them...

...which means that you're dealing with PROFESSIONALS.

They do this every day.

And they can answer any question you have about size, quality, colour, washing, ironing, whatever!

YAY!

How It Works:

1. You order your T-shirt.

We have options!

Budget (Hanes Tagless Tee) and premium (American Apparel Crew).

If comfort is your thing, go for the American Apparel Crew shirt.

2. You pay using PayPal or a credit card. But don't worry...

...if you don't have a credit card, you can use a cheque card. No credit required. It only deducts from your positive balance.

They look just like credit cards, with 16 digits on front, an expiry date, and 3 digits on the back for security.

All of the major banks issue cheque cards. You just need a cheque account with them.

Capitec Bank's cards also work but you MIGHT have to go into a branch and get them "activated" for internet purchases. Try buying with your Capitec card and, if it doesn't work, go into your local Capitec to fix it.

I've used my Capitec card online a LOT! No hassles. My wife also uses one.

3. Once we reach at least 50 T-shirts orders, "the deal is on".

Just like GroupOn or WiCount, we need a certain number of orders before the deal will go ahead.

This means you don't get charged until the order "tips" over to at least 50 shirts. Your card will be "verified" for the order but no money will be taken.
Okay, so...

Thanks ?
*bump* for the new day ?

    Sale ends next Tuesday!
Hey, Thanks Norio for all your work setting this up. I was SO keen to buy a tee for myself and partner, but ouch, ; $18 times two translates into over R400.00 plus another R50 for postage and then our post office will probably not deliver anyway. I can understand the hassles one would end up with doing it locally, but that pricing kills it for me. Sorry. K.
Yeah and the Rand isn't doing too well right now which doesn't help.

That said, we're still getting orders so hopefully this campaign goes to print!
I just checked and this campaign is DEFINITELY going to print!

We only needed 5 shirt orders to go to print and we've gotten 6.

12% of the way to our goal of 50 shirts. BOOM!
Maybe it's too late in the night for my brain to be working well but I just had a cool (crazy?) idea...

For everyone who buys a T-Shirt, you get 12 months of ad-free GuitarForum.

            Who's keen?

Just place your order and then forward me your order confirmation from TeeSpring. (If you've already ordered, just forward me the confirmation email. ?)

                5 days later
Congrats to the peeps who ordered their shirts ?

Please post a pic of you in your shirt when you get it (if you're not feeling shy).

Next year I hope to do more shirts like this.

I'm going to try get it done locally so that we can all save bux on shipping and so that we don't have to trust the post office ?
