Finally found a way to store "extra" cables that I rarely use without making permanent fixtures or modifications to rented house. Using some "no damage leaving" self adhesive hooks I found that stretch when you remove them:

Just beware that adding all that extra weight to the door can cause those hinges to rip out - I found out the hard way and have had to replace them with a piano hinge.
Haha yes also had that in the past, figured I'd replace it with 5 grass hinges instead when I start noticing issues ?
