1 year process, restored to it's former glory.

Thanks to Costa for the fantastic work you did on the guitar, plays and sounds incredible....

brilliant! What a great guitar. What Bridge pickup is that?
Well done, looks much better now! :goodtimes:
Those T-60's look like they are built to last hey. How does she sound unplugged? With the string through body and that metal nut I take it she resonates nicely and sustains like champ...
        You're welcome Paul,,
This guitar fought me all way but was worth the sweat.
I jammed on it for a couple of hours after the setup, couldnt put it down.
I'd also like to thank Slyd for some 'inside information' on the wiring.

@Chris, she sounds fantastic unplugged, lots of resonance and sustain, these guitars were built like bulldogs and can take some serious punishment.

        @Squonk, its a DiMarzio pup.
        :yup: :yup:
Very nice indeed! I couldn't ever get along with mine. It was very heavy and the wood incredibly rough and perhaps I just didn't keep it long enough to bond with it.

I used to watch and listen to one in the hands of a friend of mine who was a wonderful guitar player and man it was amazingly versatile and inspirational. He had a Strat and an old SG and the T60 snuck right in between, playing both roles brilliantly and still showing its own distinct character.

I'm sure that the three of you (I'm including Junior) are going to be very happy together ?
Wow, what a difference. Looks fantastic now

Beautiful . . . .back to original plain ash ! Enjoy her.

              Nice work Costa!

Hey Costa, wondering if you could shed some light here. I've acquired the guitar from Paul (I've also asked him but he hasn't a clue either).
Any idea why the upper section of the body would have been trimmed down and away? From the pics it appears it was like that when it was green as well?
If you look at the hardcase moulding the guitar is clearly missing a substantial chunk out of it. Even in the pics above it's visible but below are some recent ones.
I've done a search online to see if there were any actually made with this shape but can't find any ☹
When you stripped that green off were there any signs that the body had been worked on? Did you apply the clearcoat?

And here's what it SHOULD look like
