  • Anyone out there selling a nice acoustic?

I bonded with a really nice Takamine EG220c only to have it be set up and found out that the guitar was repaired because of a neck break........

I'm back in the market looking for a Takamine (if possible). I have R3500 to spend and would ideally like a hardcase in it. Some wear acceptable, doens't have to be pristine, well loved, but used is fine by me.

    Was it a snapped headstock? Were you mislead in the sale?
    The reason I ask is because I don't think a neck break is a big deal - if properly fixed. A properly repaired neck break is possibly stronger than a scarf jointed headstock anyway.

        I have a 1975 Yamaha FG295s - Nippon Gakki Japan built black label (Hummingbird copy) for sale. has a minor crack on the front panel and a few small battle scars
        I am near Durban - asking R4500-00 without case
        Selling because this guitar is only worthy of a serious player and is way beyond my league.
