These guitars are amazing, cheack the reviews, I've had one before and it came close to rivalling a much more expensive Taylor. GLWS
- The mics on even the more entry level Zoom's are incredible, blown away by the sound they produce relative to the cost. Pretty easy to sync the video to the audio after the fact, just use a nice loud click sound when starting the recording to use to accurately/easily sync them later.
- Get a Aramex Global shopper account, very competitive courier rates and then you can order anything from anywhere in the US, you get a us shipping address. Look for a voucher code, an ASG account is normally 50 dollars but there's vouchers last I looked that can get it for 10 dollars.
Big bonus is they charge by weight only, not volumetric. - Some nice upgrades, GLWS
- Annnnnd... Still avail!
- Still avail :?
- Get an old Fender Squire, the only way to go if rebuilding a Strat is what you want to do.
Bucket loads of mods/spares/pups etc avail and they sound/play great when sorted out with decent parts. Also more potential to recoup your funds if you decide to sell at a later date. - Taylor GS Mini ES Go Pickup & Taylor Volume Control Instrument Cable
R1350R950
Got them for my GS-mini but have almost never used them, I don't often have a need to plug in. Cable has an in-line volume control with mute switch. Everything is in excellent condition and it includes the 3 mounting screws to fit the end pin jack to the body. The combo costs around R2300 new.
Can post at the buyers risk/cost, R50 should cover posting it or the best option is probably the R99 Postnet to Postnet service.
You are welcome to collect it from me in George.
- Description: GOTOH Modern to Vintage String Post Reducer Bushings
R150
Collection in George or I can post them at the buyers risk & cost, can send them as a registered letter for R35.
New/Unused, bought these to use Kluson Machine Heads in a guitar headstock drilled for modern machine heads but ended up using locking machine heads which didn't need reducers.
10.5mm Pressfit conversion bushings for adapting 1/4" string posts to fit larger pegholes. Set of 6.
So if the pegholes in your headstock for the tuners is 10.5mm(or thereabouts I'm assuming) you can use these to be able to install vintage tuners with 1/4" string posts.
- Sold!
- Thanks Costa, all checked bar the sanding, jacks are all fresh though. I've tried the bending of the contact in the past, didn't seem to overly help. Is this crackling something I need to live with, would have thought using the best quality connectors would sort it out?
- Especially on my Strat if the cable gets even slightly bumped it generates crackles, the cable is typically routed up behind the strap/strap button which helps but isn't the ultimate answer.
I have a soundcraft jack in guitar body and Neutrik jacks on the cable so that shouldn't be the problem, are there any other tricks to preventing crackle? - Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor R650 Hardly used and in very good condition. You are welcome to collect it from me in George or I can post it at the buyers risk & cost. R50 should cover sending it with the Post Office or R99 for Postnet-to-Postnet.
- What actually happened, some fraudulent transactions put through on your card the same day you used it at the shop?
Definitely speak to the shop owner if that was the case, no ways in hell he'll be supporting staff that do that. - I know about Resorcinol, my father built a boat and used it widely, very strong and hard wearing. He bent some laminates through 90 degrees with steam and then glued them up with resorcinol, 35yrs later the glue joints were still good as new and perfectly stable.
- Probably eBay is the best spot to get that.
- Sent a PM
- How did the amps blow even after being down line from the surge protector, was the surge just too much?
- Glad I could help man!
- There's a guy "Dexter" on Avforums with a whole truckload of brand new torroidal transformers he's trying to sell.
Wait here they are:
