Yes that price is a bit more justified than what they usually go for.

You sure that's not the M80M though? Cause the M8M is about $8000 and I don't see any company being able to sell one off that far below cost.

Well it's made in the Shibuya Gakki factory which is Ibanez' top tier, Prestiges are made in the Fujiken Gakki factory, and that's the MSRP, street price is more like $6000 and for a niche instrument like this that's kinda normal. I mean there are tons of Fender custom shop guitars in that price range and nobody seems to mind.

I have the highest regard for Japanese craftsmanship, believe me. I love my ESP.
Paying R60 000 - R80 000 for anything is a lot of cash. May this gentleman play this guitar till his fingers bleed while he is playing Bleed. ?

It is, and there are a lot of guitars in that price range I rate I'd be far more tempted to buy if I had that kinda cash, but at the end of the day it's all just fantasy 8)

I haven't played the M8M but I have a feeling that the price is more to do with the name behind it.
