Hi guys,

does anyone have these speakers? And if you have what is your opinion?

All I get is it sounds between the greenback and V30....

Which Celestion G12-50? There have been at least 3 versions with this model number.
Hi, its the original g12-50 dated 1981... I know what you meen.. Not the S version or lynch version.. The first edition...
OK, G12-50 and G12S-50 are the same speaker. S stands for "Small" magnet. These were used by Marshall etc. in the early 80s. They are OK but never really built a reputation as a "classic", they lack the bottom end warmth of something like a Greenback.

Do you own these or are you looking to buy?
          Hi JGP,

I have these actually mixed with t1281 greenbacks.. And wanted to know well if they are not overpowered by the greenbacks.. They sound good but i dont get to seem to get any info on these...
Should work just fine, T1281 will give you plenty of bottom end so if you like the tone leave it alone.
