Howzit all!
Been hunting for guitar infos and never knew the guitarforum.co.za
Name is Jae, full name Jae-Hyun Park(11years in SA before departing from Korea)
I've been playing for about 5 years, but only got myself into theory and improvisation recently.
Meanwhile I was not bad with fingerpicking so I've got myself to learn tunes like Kotaro Oshio, Justin King, Andy Mckee and etc.
First guitar was Zamar(Korean) Z-1
Now I have Ibanez 5string Gio Bass, Ibanez AW103, Behringer V-Tone Strat(Dunno why I still have it) and soon be expecting Epiphone EJ-200CE.
My genre is Jazz.... Any suggestion for University on Jazz, throw em in.
Will try my best to keep up in this forum.
Ciao

Welcome Jae!
If you're in JHB, you could try forumite Keira Witherkay.
If you're in CPT, you could try the Jazz Workshop in the CBD. I've also heard that UCT has a pretty good jazz programme under Alvin Dyers.
Cheers

Aniyonghaseo! Na nun Jayhell imnida!
Gosh my Korean has gotten very bad. Not that it was ever any good. Welcome to the forum, I know nothing about Jazz but I am willing to share all my knowledge for a good batch of Kimchi. ?
Enjoy!

Thanks all, lol good to know you too Jayhell. Sure I don't mind your workshop for some kimchi XD Thanks Arjun for head up.
I bought myself a Epiphone EJ200 1998 Samick manufactured with the Electar preamp(quite an old piece of wood that one) with hopes to make it a vintage guitar. Needs a lotta work on it too but I'll take it to Andries in PTA to have it fixed. New nuts and screws are included in the service am I right?
