Tomorrow is my last day in Johannesburg. The rat race got too much for me and I've decided to head back home to warmer waters down in KZN.
Being an attorney up in JHB was certainly an adventure, and as a bachelor allowed for plenty of GAS binges, but what's the point in having all the gear if you have no time to play with it? :'(
While I'll most likely be practicing down in Durban, I'm looking forward to spending a little more time enjoying the good things in life (i.e. endlessly jamming the minor pentatonic and not working from 7 to 7 everyday!)
See you in a bit GFSA 8)

I trust your absence will be short lived! Looking forward to see you back on the forum. Take personal care of your guitars and all will be fine. Furniture can be replaced but a rare or special guitar, never.
Moving and relocating is quite a stressful exercise. We are also in the process of relocating but this time to a house with a real man cave.

I've seen Durbanites sulkel to adjust to the jhb pace. We employed a few surfer boys in the end they all went home to calmer water with less sharks.

Good luck! But just be warned.... Everyone in those other provinces we keep around for fun drive extremely slowly.....

I don't trust the removal people with any of my gear. So it's 3 guitars, 1 bass, PC, monitors, 2 x PC screens, midi floorboard, amp, control surface and various nuts and bolts all squeezed into a Polo ?
I will be driving excessively slowly, more worried about the gear than my car/myself!
