Hey guys.

I've seen some of these around and a guy that used to play at my church had one which sounded pretty good to me. I can't seem to find any dealers here in SA though. Anybody know if they indeed are available here or not anymore?

Hey bud.. i believe the music mates can arrange them for you.. i know the one in faerie glen had some.

I picked up my hiwatt at a store in melville around the corner from roxys. I warn you though.. that was 10 years ago..
I saw a higain 50 at music connection but that is some serious dosh right there..

I quite like my g112r. FFF has the newer model which is nicer looking than mine.. but they both sound good.

Gigged that thing for 4 years with no issues.
I saw that one of the Machinerie guitarists used the g40 version which was also nice

I got my Hiwatt combo amp about 7/8 years ago down in Durban. Since then I don't recall ever seeing any in the shops in Durban or up in JHB.

I have the G40 12R... been very happy with it.

So I've been in contact with the guys from Music Mate and it turns out the suppliers are not bringing them in anymore sadly.

I spoke to Marshall Music (the Cape Town / down town store) about 5 months ago, and back then, they still sold them.

Might want to give them a bell.
