OK, so I sent them a mail, got a call, apparently we have to be proved to use their name and donate money to them. I thought anyone would just be happy to get some extra cash. Let the red tape commence...

Sorry that I haven't updated anything of late. I'm just grateful that I got done what I did when I did. Work is just so hectic right now. I have contacted CHOC but I need to jump through hoops just to donate money to them. They need to approve the event, the venue, the artists etc. I don't see why this is necessary and I really don't have the time to inconvenience everyone with this. I'll find someone more willing.

As I said most things are in place for the event, we just need to rock up and play basically, remember to invite everyone you know.

Ok, we will be donating our proceedings to West Rand Association for Persons with disabilities as I originally intended. They are a not profit registered charity that needs all the help they can get. If you want to I can send you their details via email if you want to read more about them and what they do.

I'll be bringing my cube 60 for my guitar, which I use as a pre-amp/pedal. It stands right next to me (like Seasick Steve), so I'll need AC power and a feed from the amp to the PA. The same cable I would have used going straight into the PA.

I'm sure this will be okay.

Try your best to pull in even if it's just for a while. It seems Heart of Music is passively complaining that we don't have enough confirmed guests on Facebook, but I don't think Facebook is a good indicator of who is coming and who is not, we just got to hold thumbs and hope enough people show up.

Now, what guitar will I be playing...

I hate this about facebook... I also don't think it's a good indicator.
Anyway, hoping there's a good turnout. I'll do a bit more sharing rather than inviting.
