I'll be there, wont be able to stay the whole day. It better be an enjoyable day with good music or I'll never come again.! lol

I'll punt it again - I'll try a special announcement on Thursday night as well as the newsletter (although from stats I suspect a lot of folk only open Friday's Newsletter on Monday morning). But yeah - musicians = herding cats, generally speaking. ?

The major pity is that it's on a Sunday. Not many people wanna party (or stay out past 5pm) on a Sunday.

I'll do my best to swing around but I also have a birthday party to go to in the afternoon.

sunday or not .. ?. Jazz on Blue will be there either as a duo or trio to play some guitar/vocal and percussion acoustic jazz vibes and support the other acts ...doing their thing ...

arrived half way through the first act. enjoyed the acoustic acts! managed to listen to radio silence before we had to leave (sitting in kfc now about to take on the long road to the deep south ). Damn! just when the acts were gravitating towards my chosen genres I have to leave!

Don't thank me, thank you. Thanks to the artists for playing, thanks to the supporters for supporting. We had a good little crowd going. It is the first time I've been to Rumours where everyone is inside concentrating on the acts and not outside. It was great. I really enjoyed every single act. Sorry for the last few acts that the crowd shrinked toward the end, but you all still performed very well. After all costs were covered we managed to raise R1100 rand! I think this is pretty good for an intimate event like this.

Special thanks to PeteM and Squonk, they were the first ones there and the last ones to leave, I had a chat with some of the guys and we feel you deserve free beer for the rest of your lives when in our company. But most of everyone stayed as long as they possibly could and that is great! Now just to make it through today. I partied like it was a Saturday and it's very sad that today is not Sunday.

Anyway... some pics coming soon. Unfortunately I only took pictures up until after Radio Silence, then I totally forgot to take pictures for the rest of the evening.

Sorry to hear about the Shadow Nights, but I think everything worked out pretty good.
