That's Purdy , now hurry up and finish the darn thing already .
    Wow, looking great! :goodtimes:

You're still going with the Pearl Pickguard, right?

Yup Chris - the shielding is done and the neck cavity stamped. Now it's time for Dr. Frankenstein to attend to her nervous system. Neon Gecko will, in a couple of days, get onto finishing the neck. I must say, I am quite overwhelmed by the colour and quality of the paint. It is incredible.

Alan and Stud are 100% correct. The body is ash - and I am now more the wiser. :-[

Cool ? Keen to see how it's turned out.
Well, here's a short clip off Neon Gecko's cell phone. She sounds terrific! Roll on Friday!!

Ok, so I collected my guitar, got back home and decided that, as my Zambezi Blonde, she needed some decent photos taken down by the riverside. Well, my camera has more foreign bodies floating around in it than the Mediterranean and every pic that I took was ruined by dust or hair. My work load has also increased considerably and the time and place just didn't happen - until Sunday. My better half's youngster had a beaut of a Nikon that did the job.

With regard to the guitar's play-ability and tone - I could not be happier. The action is softer that my roadkill Tele and the clean tones fuller and sweeter. Nicer than my Strat's tone too. I really got way more than I bargained and paid for. Neon Gecko and the gents from BvanS know their stuff!

So without further ado - some untouched pics of my pride and joy, loafing on the Zambezi

The birdseye neck is something else and the blue tint worked out realllly nicely.

                      Nice pics Chabs!
That guitar is more classy than a top hat wearing, moustach havin', whisky sipping gentleman.

Now play me some jazz dammit, my drink is getting warm. :roflmao:
An absolutely sublime instrument.... Stunning to say the least...

I'm thrilled for your part! :goodtimes: Enjoy! :goodtimes:
Wow, striking guitar! I can't look at these threads. The urge to go out and spend money I don't have on a looker like this is too strong. Goodbye.
