BBE supa Charger
DrGonzo
Hi guys (again!)
I just picked up a BBE supa charger today and setting it up on my board.... However to my surprise it does not power my line 6 m5 - which in hindsight makes sense as the line 6 must draw quite a lot of power...
As far as I am aware, out put 5 and 6 of the BBE provides 200mA each, is it possible to daisy chain output 5 and 6 and power the line 6 with 2 ports
I beleive the line 6 needs about 350mm so this would theoretically work fine.
If so, how do i chain them together? do i need a special Y power cable? do such things exxist and in that case where would I be able to find them?
I guess i could still use the line 6 power supply, but i was really stoked on the luxury of being able to just plug one power cable in and BAM everything online, neat and tidy ?

Hey you should be able to parallel the 5 and 6 ports in "normal" 9v 200ma mode. Giving you max 400ma if you don't overdraw from any of the other 100ma outs. What other pedals are you using? PS i read somewhere that for safety you should assume 500ma for m5. Are you sure it only draws 350ma?

Im just gonna use the included power supply for now...
thank for info tho!

You can use one of these to get 400mA by combining outputs 5 & 6:

Marshall should have them as they are the T-Rex importers.
