Pedal Power Supplies

Hi, ok so I found a pedalboard with built in power supply, but I don't necessarily want to use the power supply, but I want to buy the pedalboard. Is the power supply useable though?

The thing is, I have no idea about the wire configuration, can someone take a look and tell me how this works?
And is the price right? 1400, as it comes with George L's.

This is what the guy said:

Board is made out of wood and covered with same material as most amps.
There are 5 locking input jacks, with George L. cables running inside the box and able to poke out small holes on the Velcro top.
Inside are two Roland power supplies. The box has a 3-pin power input.
This price includes a whole stack of George L. patch cables (one of the best quality cables on the market).
Also includes a couple of daisy chains.
Includes soft cover for the board, and board has a handle attached.
This is an amazing custom board, for a great price considering the quality cables, dual power supplies and build quality.

I bought the board a couple of months ago and have NEVER used it. I wasn't planning on using the supplied power so I have no idea about the configuration. I have attached a picture of the underside of the board.

That's a very good deal. Those locking jacks on the side are great. You can use them for input/output, and send/return if you use your effects loop on your amp.

Those supplies look like the Boss PSB-1U supplies. 9V, 2A each, so plenty of juice for digital effects.

Yeah, that's a great price - most everything you might need included and good quality. I like that the board even has a bottom cover...

But why are there 5 Jack inputs. I can imagine you need 2 for input and output, and 2 for sends. But the 5th one?

Ok wait so the jacks are for send/return for the amps effects loop.. But how does the input and output work, is it just taking the cable that runs from your amps output (where you plug your guitar in), and plugging that cable into the input jack on the board, and plugging your guitar on the output jack on the board? What purpose does it serve?

I'm also wondering about the 5th jack.

edit: he said they are Roland power supplies, not sure about the model though.

Oh it just saves you time really. Its a small but nice feature. My next board will definitely have it.

What you do is hook up the input jack to your first pedal in the chain, and then hook up the output jack to the last pedal in your chain. Then you can just plug your guitar into the input jack, and put another lead from the output jack to the amp. Saving you like 4 seconds of time, and looking neater.

The 5th one could be for stereo output, it could also be for an amp footswitch or an additional expression pedal or something. The possibilities are endless (and rather have and not need than vice versa). ?

Yeah - I'm pretty sure they are the Roland/Boss PSB-1Us.

They are for.... whatever you want them for ?
Possibly dual amps and stuff...Some delays have a left and right output...
The sky is the limit... Maybe 2 guitars in... etc etc...

Btw, whilst on topic, what is the big deal with these Neutrik's locking jacks, I mean how often does it happen that a guitarist accidentally pulls his lead out his pedalboard (which doesn't have a locking jack). Do these jacks have any other benefit?

It's happened to me before... After rehearsal I moved my pedal board (not even far) to tidy up the power cable running to it and the signal cable going to my amp... You guessed it... start the first song and I have no signal... In a moment of panic (Because our songs tend to be electric guitar driven) I pulled my guitar cable out of the beginning of the signal chain and went straight into the amp and jammed the set like that...

I'm a big fan - I've even been using them in most of my guitars for 20 years. I've yet to have one fail. Plus you can strip them to clean them.
