Hey guys, thought i would let you know that Murray Kuun (http://murraykuun.com/) is selling one of his dino electric guitars for a ridiculously low price.
He put it up on facebook for just under 5k

By the looks of things, Big G may already be on this one. hahaha

Hey! I resemble that remark!! Hehe.

I am seriously considering it, but its a lot of money for a guitar I haven't yet played, especially one with a funky shape! Its also going to cost me more to get it here, as I'll have to add a case, then obviously courier, so I'd still be looking closer to R6k, but it is a R25k guitar!

I'm also in desperate need of some of my kit to sell in order to get it, so if any other forumites are keen, jump on it before it goes to someone outside our community!

As for my reputation for selling off things at a rapid rate of knots, I have been discovering my needs, and narrowing down my focus, which has made 'some apples fall from the tree when shaken', and they are either not fitting in with my focus, or they are doubling up on what I already have. Plus I've been fortunate enough to grab a few bargains that where guitars I never thought I would own due to prohibitive pricing (for my wallet/budget). This Dino (if I get it) may well turn out to be the same, and may end up going on the classifieds or GT, but it may not also. I'd be in an easier position if I was able to actually play it and see it in real life though. ?

      Regards
      G!
If I'm not mistaken this guitar was up for sale a long time ago - not hating just saying
Amazing craftsmanship and extraordinary creativity, but a bit too avant-garde for my tastes.
I've just been chatting with Murray, and it is an old model, infact the second he ever built. He's not desperate to sell it, but is looking to 'empty the closet' so to speak.

I'm still undecided as to whether I like it or not? It is rather whacky, but it looks functionally formed. I'm hoping to get some more shots of it to see if its a design that will work for me or not?

            G!
Another pic of the MK Dino.....

Doesn't quite look so bizarre from this angle. Still Tempted, but would be relieved if one of you good folk bought it, so I couldn't! ?

              Regards
              G!

Bought two guitars this year, both with coil-splitting function so a 3rd would be just too much.
                Ah, who am I kidding!
                Thank Goodness I'm broke. ?

Ha... Got it. Now to add a couple of security locks....

                    You got this guitar HNQ?
HOw about an NGD? some pics and clips?
Jap, will post pics a bit later. Fun little guitar, much smaller than expected, but plays well and looks brilliant. If passive hummer pups are you're thing, it also sounds great.
