well, as always looking to expand my (musical) horizons and bought over the weekend a lapsteel
it is a 1953 gibson ultratone/century in at once was blue but now is more greenish (but still nice!)
it came with a very nice lifton case, a hot p90 and crumbled tuner buttons
more a gadget buy but it sounds great (with just guitar strings now) and happy to have it ?
on a sidenote: these lap steels were mostly parted out since the tuners, tone knobs and the jackplate are indetfical to the fifties les pauls. the 58 version of this model even came with a PAF
