  • What guitar will you NEVER play?

For any reason other than money! There's a lot of designs I don't particularly like but I've even been tempted to pick up an eye-gouger on occasion. Crazy novelty guitars can be fun, I wouldn't turn one down for a party trick but for me this style is just completely off putting (no offence to Mr Diddley):

Can't really say there's a guitar I would never play...
But my rule is I don't play any other guitars unless I am actively shopping for a new one... or else I find myself "needing" a new guitar...lol
Gibson RD , cannot find anything sexy in the style. Also, the "elvis pants" Gibson was just wrong

        Gibson Firebird X...
That RD looks kinda cool ?

Firebird X.... I'd pick it up only because it's so ludicrous it's actually funny ?

It kinda makes me think of a dressmakers mannequin ... hehe
Haha. I'd totally rock the Airline and the RD. But thumbs up to your other choices. Beyond ghastly.
+1 on any of the "reverse" gibsons...That Gibson Corvus is another special case

? I know you would..you crazy simian with sideburns you...The Airline shouldn't actually be on that list of mine. I didn't want the fanboys to think i was anti Gibson (which i am)

                  I don't know why Gibson bother with R & D :?

So they can make guitars that tune themselves ?
Was logging on this thread to say that I'd never say 'no' to a guitar.

Then I saw some of the photos. That reverse V looks like the most uncomfortable thing in the world, and that's coming from a Tele player.

The inside scoop is they took Casio's IP...Here's a sneak peek of what next year's Failbird XV (working title..another one is Less *sic* Paul) (Thanks Singemonkey) will look like..

Oh man, that reverse V on ARJUN'S I HATE GIBSON POST is special.

                            ?
I might not "buy" that reverse V but I'll try it out anyway...
There is no guitar I'd never play, but there are some I'd like to rid the world of...
in the only way know how...
                                Any V shape or 90% of B. C Rich's shapes.

I have been wanting to build one of these for years .... might just be my next project ......
nun, i will literally play any guitar
