Brilliant Idea just need some end caps ....

PS: have you been banished to the garage now ?
So when can I put my order in?
      Very nice work!

What tele is that? Thinline, P90s, Cabronita scratchplate has me confused
good stuff.........................do yourself a favour and pop into builders and buy the insulation rolls that they use for water pipes, it comes in 3m lengths and would fit over the pipes a treat and that way it would cover the pipe.

Also good to see the tabs on the pedals......
:applause: :applause: :goodtimes: Well done Giggsy, works well !! :goodtimes: :applause: :applause:

So ........ when you gonna give me a call ??

Trust me, Giggsy doesn't own any Nitro finished guitars. ?

I see a Gibson Les Paul Jr on the rack.

              Great idea Giggsy!

BTW - What did you use for padding? Draught excluder?
Nice thing is they can be made to whatever size you need. And thanks for the tip - had wondered if there'd be any reaction so have been watching carefully. I chucked away the packaging for the padding - its just 5mm rubber that comes in 5m rolls that I found at Builders.

I was actually looking for the insulation rolls but I used 40mm PVC pipe for added 'bulk' so with the insulation stuff on it might be a bit too thick, will still check it out though. And yeah, those bicycle chains work perfectly, thanks for the tip ?

All the end caps I have seen have been way too big and a bit too 'sharp' and scary looking to be near my guitars! We've converted our garage into half office, half storage/music room with dry wall, that's why I don't have them up on the wall anymore, I don't trust drywall to hold them

Don't kid, I was actually thinking about that...

Gees, I still have to do that Aubs! At the moment I'm no really getting much time to play, started a new business and just adopted a 12-year-old ??? so I might have to run away from home for a bit 8)

Think I might just copy you, in summer time though, too damn cold to do any DIY projects

What's the bass in the foreground? Is it an Italia? Looks hot.
Do you still have that JetKing? And the Hofner you were going to revamp???

Yip, that's an Italia Mondial - my latest addition. Got the Ibanez ORM1 which is a similar shape to a Jetking (its the cream one on the right hand side towards the back) but I am still on the lookout for a proper Jetking - there was one at the TOMS Braamfontein sale last year for about R1600 that I still regret missing out on.

Haven't got to complete the Hofner yet - should hopefully get it painted at an auto clinic when my car goes in for hail damage repair in the next month or so
