Given a recent thread, I thought a totally self-indulgent current GAS listing might be in order. I'll kick things off:
I've spent enough time on the banjo now to know I'm going to keep playing the thing. So I want one that is actually playable above the fifth fret. Nothing with a Hondo logo on the headstock will be considered.
I'm tempted to see if I can gild the lily and get even more tone out of my Tokai LP with a pair of Bareknuckle humbuckers. Maybe the PG Blues set or a pair of Mules.
I want one of them nifty Senheisser amp mics that has the diaphram on the side so that you can literally just hang it from the amp handle in front of the speaker (because when I see someone do that with an SM57, such savage thoughts of murder and dismemberment flow through me that my blood pressure soars).
A couple of those Hercules stands that're both an A-frame stand, but also keep the neck in place so they don't slide off sideways.
A Moonstone ceramic slide with a thick wall and the right size for my pinky.
Carry on there.
