Hi Folks

I skipped the introduction bit and went straight to the bass section!

My buddies call me Sakkie or Frikkie and all other manner of names, but Sakkie will do for this forum ?.

Been playing bass for the last 6 years and I am into old school rock, metal and grunge.

Currently rocking a refinned Squier II P Bass (pawn shop rescue) , Epiphone Thunderbird IV and an Ashdown MAG 300 H with 2 matching 15" Cabs.

It's really great to have a place where I can hook up other musos!

I absolutely love the bird!

It was a bit of a dog in terms of setup when I bought it and the pickups sounded weak due to being set at the wrong height. I sent it to our local tech and it was a completely different beast when it came back. It now growls like an angry bear with a sore tooth.
