Sammi Guitar Speakers. comments

I've a bit of reading about Sammi Instrument speakers, something like a 48 year old company making speakers

In their instrument range they make a ceramic and neo speakers and I have been in touch with the manufactures in Korea, now thinking of ordering a sample of http://sammi2.wlsksskf.gethompy.com/

Some reviews seem to rank them quite highly .... anyone used or heard of them before ?

Sammi used to be represented by Wild and Marr a few years ago. Their PA loudspeaker components were actually quite good for the price.

As far as I know there is no direct representative in SA.

The other company called Traffic law trying to auction these instrument speakers on bidorbuy very unsuccessfully ,

he also only has the 12" 100w-ers and 10" and 8" -ers and does not return phone calls

So how much would the 50Watters come in at then (ME300B50) ? I might actually buy from that guy on bidorbuy, at that sort of money it's hard to resist... My wife curses you...

PS all the stuff I've read (today thanks to you) talks about less top end, less efficient, points at PA speaker for me. I like mixing PA speakers with guitar speakers but I don't think that I could use sammi speakers alone if they have too much subdued tops. Tonight I am putting together a 4x12 with a G12H30 and vintage 30 at the top and a fane pa speaker at the bottom with another PA speaker... Sounds nice as two 2x12 boxes so stands to reason it must sound similar in 1 box?!

Ryan ...the local guy only has 100 watters in his auction price starts at R300.... but he had had no takers if you email me I will give you his direct contact details.

From Korea the 50watter is $17.00 ea I have asked for a shipping price yesterday so let see later on today.

From the graphs I've seen they are pretty flat top and has peaky notch at around 3-4.5khz ... which is above normal hearing freq anyway I will send the tech dope on to you as well.
