Hey All

Heres a couple pics of my off-set build. More Jazzmaster than Jag I guess. I'll take some more pics when I can, but my house is being renovated at the moment and things are a fine mess..

Body is a loaded Squire Jagmaster from ebay, neck is a maple MM with fender decal (I bought it that way ?)

Pickups are Bill Lawrece L609s. These are noiseless single coils that sit inbetween P90s and Jazzmaster pickups.

Just need a neck plate and screws. Any ideas on where I can purchase locally?

More pics to follow.

Mighty Mite products should be available at most good music stores.
THeir inexpensive neck-plate comes with screws for under 100 deNiros.
Thanks tried a popular local music shop here in Cape Town last month and the guy helping me was pretty clueless as to what a neck plate was ???

I'll have to convince my wife that another order to guitar fetish is needed ?
terryd.co.za sell neck plates and screws

I really love Bill Lawrence pickups I also have an L500 (nuno, dimebag style), L90 (like Aerosmith used in the 70s).

They are very very sweet sounding pickups.

Hey guys just thought I'd post some picks of the completed guitar. I took it to Foster for final setup .
He's a really talented guy! Also very friendly.

Sound wise this think is killer. Its got chime but quite a bit of dirt too.

The Lawrence p/u's are definitely more Fender than P90. I'm very happy. ?

That is pretty beautiful. The Gibson knobs 'make' it for me for some reason.
Awesome! If it plays half as good as it looks, then you have a keeper!
